On 03/02/2025, Léo LAVAUR won the GDR RSD 2025 thesis award for his thesis entitled “Improving Intrusion Detection in Distributed Systems with Federated Learning,” completed at IRISA and supervised by Yann BUSNEL, Marc-Oliver PAHL, and Fabien AUTREL.
“The jury appreciated the very high quality of the manuscript, both in terms of its presentation and structure. Léo LAVAUR also conducted numerous experiments to support his work, which lies at the intersection of complex topics such as artificial intelligence and security.
