SOTERN is proud to announce the imminent arrival of two new PhD students to the team.
Daisy Munson, a Master’s graduate from EUR Cyberschool who completed her end-of-study internship with the team, will begin her PhD in spring 2025 on the topic of “Intention Control in Intent-Based Security Systems.”
Mikhael Russo, a Master’s student currently completing his end-of-study internship, will begin his PhD in October 2025. He will focus on intention-based networks – specifically, translating user inputs into the optimal placement of security functions within the infrastructure. This thesis will be co-supervised by the NetGroup team at the Dipartimento di Automatica e Informatica, Politecnico di Torino, and SOTERN. It is funded through the SEED doctoral program, led by IMT Atlantique and co-financed by the European Union.
